Design based of Casting Entities:
Entity is the basic component for the gating design in AnyDESIGN. This S/W can perform 3D CAD Build using the following Entities: Product, Core, Chill, Pouring Path, Path-Line, Joint, Branch, Ingate, Side Riser, Riser Neck, Top Riser, and Vent.
Quick Update of Gating Design:
Using AnyDESIGN, automatic gating design is performed based on the Entities, and each Entity consists of its own parameters. The geometry of the gating system can be modified graphical adjustment and by adjusting the numbers in the related parameter table.
Automatic Draft Angle Analysis for Parting Line:
AnyDESIGN analyzes draft angle of a product and finds the parting line including manual adjustments, and automatically makes a parting plane on the fully curved surface that has many steps for real gating design works.
Analysis of Shrinkage Defect using Thickness Map:
AnyDESIGN enhances the function to directly analyze shrinkage defect using the Thickness Map technique without having to perform the time-consuming solidification analysis. This function provides users with important clues in determining the size and location of the runners, risers, and riser necks during the gating design stage
Thickness Analysis of Product
AnyDESIGN enhances the function to directly analyze the thickness of a product using the Thickness Map technique without having to perform the time-consuming solidification analysis. This function provides users with important clues in determining the size and location of the runners, risers, and riser necks during the gating design stage.
Health Check of Gating and Risering
Based on Health Check function of AnyDESIGN, it provides to check the soundness of the created casting design. It checks the thickness of the mold, effectiveness of riser which compares the height of the riser and product, feedability of riser which feeding melt from the riser to the product, and effective riser by comparing solidification modulus among product, riser neck and riser in real time.
Optimization of Gating & Risering:
AnyDESIGN can help the optimization of a casting design using casting theory as a background. The Riser’s size is optimized considering the Modulus and Feeding Ratio, and the Sprue, Runner, Gate size can be optimized according to the input filling time and gating ratio. The Resizing process can help creating a sound casting design
Cost Analysis for Your Benefit:
AnyDESIGN provides Cost Analysis for Casting products. The cost is calculated by material cost, labor cost, manufacturing overheads, expenses, and uses the average cost to analyze cost of a new item by the product’s weight, casting yield, and defect ratio. By using the calculated cost, the yearly profit or loss is calculated so the use can analyze the casting method and economic benefits
